Appropriations for the Department of Corrections pay for the costs of incarcerating primarily adult prisoners in Colorado.

This bill represents an opportunity gain for Colorado. By creating six family advocacy demonstration programs across the state, families with seriously mentally ill juvenile delinquents will be better able to access appropriate mental health treatment.
