ALAMOSA – A Denver think tank urged San Luis Valley county commissioners Monday to take up the fight against a trio of ballot questions it says would decimate state and local budgets.
The Bell Policy Center has focused its sights on Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101 and hopes commissioners will make voters aware of the cuts to services that will come should the measures pass.
"The problem is that's not something some schmuck from Denver can do," said Wade Buchanan, the center's president.
