Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), one of the ideas considered by the Colorado Blue Ribbon Commission on Health Care Reform considered, may not be a cure-all for uninsured or underinsured families or individuals. Bell Policy Center Fellow Blair Woodbury discusses the pros and cons of this health insurance option in an interview broadcast on KGNU Radio. Woodbury says that HSAs may have a positive benefit for higher earning Coloradans but fall short of meeting the needs of Coloradans in lower income brackets.
