Bell's Morton OK'd for 2nd term as Western State trustee

Congratulations to Linda Morton, a member of the Bell's board of directors, who has moved a step closer to being reappointed as a trustee of Western State College in Gunnison.

The Senate Education Committee unanimously recommended Morton's reappointment for a term lasting until Dec. 31, 2015. The full Senate will vote at a later date. George Delaney of Castle Rock also was recommended for reappointment as a trustee.

Morton, who served eight years as mayor of Lakewood and was chairman of the Denver Regional Council of Governments, has been a Bell board member since 2003.
