Mark your calendars for Colorado Gives Day

The Bell Policy Center is participating in the first-ever Colorado Gives Day on Dec. 8, a 24-hour effort to increase philanthropy through online giving. We ask you to please consider making a donation to the Bell.

The goal of Colorado Gives Day, presented by FirstBank and the Community First Foundation, is to raise $1 million in one day for hundreds of Colorado charities and non-profit organizations.

The philosophy behind the effort is "24 hours to give where you live," and it's all online. No stamps, no mailings, no envelopes.

So, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, please support the Bell. We'll send out a reminder email next week, but for now you can check out the Bell's page on the GivingFirst.org.

All of your donation -- and more! -- will go to the Bell. That's because the Community First Foundation is covering processing fees, and FirstBank has contributed $250,000 to an Incentive Fund that will be distributed proportionally based on all donations received on Colorado Gives Day.

Colorado ranks among the lowest states for charitable giving, so please use this important day to make a statement. Please mark your calendars for Dec. 8, and thank you for supporting the Bell.
