Get loud, Colorado. Speak your mind, voice your opinions

We've told you before about "TBD Colorado," Gov. John Hickenlooper's non-partisan, collaborative effort to create informed and constructive conversations among Coloradans about some of the biggest issues facing the state.

TBD has been working hard to get Coloradans talking and to provide ways for residents to speak up and shape the future of our state. The latest effort is a series of videos on important issues and a Facebook page where you can answer survey questions.

We fully support TBD's goal of having Coloradans speak up, so we say, get loud, Colorado. Share your thoughts. Voice your opinions.

The TBD Colorado videos cover:

  • Early childhood education
  • Transportation
  • State revenue

For the surveys, here are instructions from TBD Colorado:

By going to the TBD Colorado Facebook page and clicking on the Voice Your Opinion Button, you can learn about these issues, voice your opinion, and see (in real time) where Coloradans agree and disagree on the issues. A final written report of the entire TBD Colorado 2012 process including these surveys will be shared with the General Assembly, Governor Hickenlooper, and other state leaders in early December.

To make this a successful campaign, we are asking that you complete the survey(s) yourself and help spread the word. Please post the link to the survey on your Facebook wall (see example below). You can also email to friends, colleagues, organizations and anyone else you think may want to share their thoughts on these important issues in our state.
